Belly binding is a postpartum healing practice found across many cultures. The method I offer is the traditional Indonesian Bengkung style, where a long, hand-crafted cotton wrap is used to gently support the abdomen, hips, and lower back after birth.

In the early postpartum period, the body is open, tender, and reorganizing. Bengkung binding provides gentle structure and containment, helping the body feel steady, aligned, and held. It supports physical healing while also offering emotional grounding.
